Compact, energy efficient and packed with features, the Trane High-Efficiency Console GEC water source comfort system can make any room feel like home – whether an office, hotel room, student dorm, condo or apartment. Integrated controls allow occupants to manage their comfort, without sacrificing energy efficiency. Other features:
- Standard high- and low-pressure switches
- Efficiency up to 15.7 EER, depending on configuration
- Ideal for geothermal applications for highly efficient performance
- ASHRAE 62 compliant for indoor air quality with sloped drain pan
Multiple capacities, configurations, color options add to installation flexibility
With capacities from 0.5 - 1.5 tons, Console GEC units can meet a broad variety of space needs. Trane has also designed them for flexibility. The cabinet, chassis and subbase of Console units are available in multiple configurations to meet different installation needs: standard configuration, low-height configuration, extended length or chassis only

- Durable metal cabinet pre-painted in deluxe beige, cameo white or soft dove
Enhance climate control with optional features
Console units are available with optional upgrades to enhance occupant comfort, including:
- Hot gas reheat for true atmospheric conditioning and dehumidification
- Boiler-less electric heat, when water temperature below 55°F
- Motorized outside air (up to 25%) for better IAQ
Designed for easy maintenance and service
Trane designed Console units with service and maintenance in mind. The cabinet uses a hook-secure fit that allows complete access to piping and electrical hookup. Panel-free access makes changing the filter simple (tool-free on standard configuration). And the blower fan assembly is accessed through the front panel of the unit, and the entire assembly slides forward for easier service and maintenance.
